What we do

Ritz Garage Doors covers garage door repair, spring and cable work, opener repair and installation, panel replacement and complete new doors, for homes and businesses across Illinois. We work on every common brand, including doors and openers made by companies that no longer exist.

How we work

Three things shape how we run jobs. First, the vans carry the parts that actually fail, so most repairs finish on the first visit instead of turning into an order and a second trip. Second, you get the price before anything is opened up, and if we find something else we stop and ask rather than adding it to the bill. Third, we look at the whole door, not just the part that broke, because a spring that failed early usually failed for a reason.

Repair before replace

A lot of doors get replaced that did not need replacing, and a lot of openers get sold to people who actually needed a twenty dollar gear kit. We will tell you when a repair is the better value and when it genuinely is not, and we will give you both numbers so you can decide rather than be steered.

Hours

Dispatch runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Emergency call-outs cost more than a scheduled slot and we tell you the difference on the phone. If the job can safely wait until morning for a cheaper rate, we will say so.
